Anthony Piper

Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
Alaska resident since 1979
Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, University of Alaska, Anchorage; Masters of Science in Counseling Psychology, University of LaVerne; Licensed Professional Counselor, Alaska license #149. Currently in second year of PhD. Program at Saybrook Graduate & Research Center, with Clinical Psychology & Social Transformation focus.
Tony has served as the Statewide Community Behavioral Health Coordinator for the Division of Behavioral Health in the State of Alaska Department of Health & Social Services since 2000. He also serves as Adjunct Faculty for the Undergraduate Human Services Program at Alaska Pacific University. A position he has held since 1998. Tony’s other interests include family, youth development and leadership, and only slightly competitive racquetball.
