Road Bond Propositions
A primary funding component of road, drainage, and safety improvements is the road bond proposition that is presented to voters in the municipal election each April. Road bonds can only be used for development of capital improvements within the service area boundaries. Strong community support for these bonds has allowed development on an ongoing capital program that addresses road, drainage, and safety needs of our growing community.
The bond service area within Anchorage is called the Anchorage Road and Drainage Service Area (ARDSA). Links to an ARDSA boundary map and information on previous ARDSA bonds are provided below:
