Transit Maintenance Shop Roof Repair

Remove and replace ballast and rigid insulation to allow installation of overlay patches on existing EPDM field splice seams on 62,000 SF of existing roof. Estimated cost: $260,000.

Anchorage Senior Center

Prepare design/build bridging documents for 8,405 SF expansion including library, three arts and crafts rooms, three classrooms, aerobics, storage, and bathroom facilities.  Project includes exterior landscaping and additional parking.  Project construction: Spring 2002.

 Girdwood New Town Hall and Library

Design/construct 9,252 SF new town hall and library for Girdwood.  The town hall with restrooms and mechanical/electrical rooms will represent 5,360 SF, and 3,892 SF for the library.  Estimated total project cost is $4.7 million. Requires bond approval in 2002.

 Chugiak Senior Center Adult Day Services Facility

The project was funded by the Alaska Mental Health Trust Authority for a total cost of $893,953.  The 4,000 SF addition includes a large sitting area, kitchen, dining area and office/ staff area.

Brother Francis Shelter Replacement

Preliminary space study complete. New facility scope includes 18,200 SF including overnight lodging for 240 occupants,  administration and staff general purpose room and facility support. RFP for design scheduled for fall 2001.
