Fire Station #4 Renovation/Expansion Tudor Road

Design underway for addition of 2 additional apparatus bays, dive gear storage, EMS storage, emergency generators, workout room, decontamination room, new dorm rooms for 11 firefighters, upgrades to kitchen and training room and bathrooms.  Construction budget $1.4 million scheduled for spring 2002. 

Sand Lake Fire Station #7

Site Selection, Design, and Construction of a 10,900 SF replacement fire station on Jewel Lake Road. Facility includes 6 dormitories, dining/kitchen facilities  and sewing/repair rooms. Construction Costs: $2.5 million

Fire Station #8 O'Malley Road

Construction underway for 1200 SF expansion including kitchen/dining, fitness room upgrades, 5 new dorm rooms, air resource room and bottle storage, police substation, and emergency generator. Project includes parking lot and landscape enhancements.  Construction completion for fall 2001.

 Fire Station #10 Renovation/Expansion Rabbit Creek

Design complete for 2,800 SF addition including new rescue apparatus and storage bay, fitness room, 5 dorm sleeping rooms and kitchen/dining improvements.  Construction on hold awaiting funding.

Fire Station #11 Eagle River

The contract provided for the renovation of the "Old Eagle River Enstar" building into a new fire station.  The total square footage of the building and addition is 7,500 SF.  The scope of work included remodeling to provide sleeping rooms, kitchen, dining area, living area, offices, fitness room, and an addition to the garage area.  Total construction cost was $1,049,389.

Fire Training Center Replacement

Site selection, design and construction management for a new fire training center complex.  Facility to include administration offices, instructional space, apparatus and equipment storage.  Also drill tower, burn building, Hazmat, confined space, trenching/shoring, extraction, building collapse, flammable liquid and gases, aircraft and marine fire training, props and emergency vehicle driver/operator course.
