FLEET SERVICES SECTION

The Fleet Maintenance Section is responsible for the acquisition, management, maintenance and disposal of more than 1,100 vehicles and equipment units. The majority of these vehicles fall into two categories, light duty (under 1 ton) and heavy duty. The maintenance shops are organized in this manner, and provide the entire range of maintenance services, from preventive to complete rebuild. Thirty six of the finest technicians and servicemen are involved in this Herculean effort to support the street maintenance, APD, and general government customer base.
