Please note that when you reserve park use, you are reserving a portion of that park.  Parks are still open to the general public.  When you hold a permit for a shelter, you have sole use of that shelter.  User must have permit available on site. A park/shelter/facility is not considered reserved until payment is received.

Parks & Recreation has two community garden sites available for seasonal rent.  McPhee Gardens (see map), located in Mt. View off Pine and McPhee Streets, has 40 plots.  C Street Gardens (see map), , located on C Street (west side) between 15th Avenue and Fireweed Lane, has 81 plots. Permits are issued on a first come, first serve basis.  Garden plots are 10' x 20', and cost $30 per plot per season.  Reservations for plots begins the first Monday in April, and must be done in person at the Parks & Recreation Office at 120  Bragaw.  For additional information, contact the office during normal business hours at 343-4355.  For basic garden information, see Garden Plots.

Requests are considered in a review process by committee that looks at a history of past use, the size of the organization, and partnerships.  

Reservations can be made for any length of time. Practice time is scheduled for 1 ½ hour blocks of time on fields and 1 hour increments for hockey.  

Timeline for Summer fields: Jan 1 - March 1 Submittal period.

Your event may need to have a permit for park land use. Contact Parks & Recreation at one of the district offices listed below for information or fax in the completed  Facility Permit Request/Letter of Intent.  For special event requests that include alcohol, an Alcohol Waiver must be submitted as well. A park/shelter/facility is not considered reserved until payment is received.
