Project Scope

The Municipality is working in partnership with First Tee, a non-profit associated with the PGA of America, the Tiger Woods Foundation, and other professional golf associations to provide healthy recreation opportunities for low income youth.   Potential improvements include the renovation of Russian Jack’s existing nine-hole, par-three golf course to make it a PGA-authorized First Tee Learning Center. Improvments include:

• grass greens
• automated irrigation
• a practice area
• pitch and putt area 

The Municipal project also plans to address broader community needs including:

• winter recreation improvements 
• safe sledding hill
• Nordic start/finish
• skating pond that can be used as an irrigation source.
