Welcome to the Kincaid Park Summer and Winter Improvements page!

The Municipality is working in partnership with the Kincaid Project Group (KPG), a non-profit associated with the Alaska Community Foundation, to provide healthy recreation opportunities at Kincaid Park.  The mission of the Kincaid Project Group is to impact create world-class, year-round recreational opportunities at Kincaid Park for the benefit of Anchorage and the greater Alaskan community.  In 2006, the Parks & Recreation Commission approved the proposed improvements to Kincaid Park including the addition of 7 natural turf soccer fields, an artificial turf stadium, new biathlon range and building, and snowmaking and other trail improvements. The Kincaid Project Group has committed to raising the estimated $10 million to construct and maintian the improvements including a $1 million maintenance endowment.
