How do I know if I live in an Emergency Watch Neighborhood? The Muncipality of Anchorage has a neighborhood resource website called My Neighborhood. My Neighborhood website provides an easy way of accessing and integrating a wide range of local information (economic, political, and educational) with their geographical coordinates, using online maps. Emergency Watch Neighborhoods can be found using the Public Safety category and are outlined in brown. To check if you are already in an Emergency Watch area, or are interested in contacting a fellow neighborhood leader that has started a program near your neighborhood, follow these four simple steps: 1. Click on the My Neighborhood link - http://neighborhood.muni.org/ 2. Enter your address. 3. Select the Public Safety Category. 4. If you are in an existing Emergency Watch boundary email emergencywatch@muni.org and request a contact from the neighborhood leader in that area. If you are not part of an existing program email emergencywatch@muni.org to request a Starter Toolkit. |
