Take the Lighting Survey

The Municipality of Anchorage Residential Street Lighting Pilot Survey is intended to provide feedback to the Municipality for potential lighting changes that will impact the quality, aesthetic, and efficiency of the street lighting systems used commonly in residential areas.  This survey will give the Municipality valuable insight into what the public preferences are for various lighting systems.  While the survey is purely subjective, it is intended to provide objective information that the Municipality can use to establish a plan for future lighting retrofit projects.

Directions
Print out the questions or cut them from the pilot project newspaper article and then go to the streets that are set up for the pilot project.  For this survey, there will be three areas that need to be evaluated.  Read and answer all the questions at each area, and try to avoid comparing one section of the pilot project to the others directly.  Try to make the assessments in an absolute scale instead.

When the surveys are completed, take them home and enter the responses into the computer survey sheet as you recorded them in the field.  Congratulations, your work is done.  The Municipality of Anchorage would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your time.  Your contribution to this pilot project survey is invaluable to help guide future street lighting decisions.

The survey ends March 31, 2008.
