Property Tax Relief Task Force

Mayor Mark Begich and Assembly Chair Dan Coffey have appointed an Anchorage Tax Relief Task Force.  The 11 member group of business and civic leaders will work this summer on ways to diversify Anchorage’s tax structure while reducing the city’s reliance on property taxes, delivering recommendations to the administration and the assembly in September.

We will post documents related to this committee on this site.  In addition, you can send in public comment that will be available to the committee at taxrelief@muni.org

To receive updates on the next committee meeting, please contact Leslie Ridle at RidleLD@muni.org or at 343-7115.
