Property Tax Relief Task Force
Mayor Mark Begich and Assembly Chair Dan Coffey have appointed an Anchorage Tax Relief Task Force. The 11 member group of business and civic leaders will work this summer on ways to diversify Anchorage’s tax structure while reducing the city’s reliance on property taxes, delivering recommendations to the administration and the assembly in September.
