PEOPLE MOVER SERVICE SHUT DOWN UNTIL 3 PM
City will evaluate road conditions to determine start up time

Effective Immediately

People Mover is stopping all bus service at least until 3:00 p.m. due to hazardous road conditions.  The department will reevaluate road conditions and will provide an update at 2:30 p.m.

“Safety of our passengers and drivers is the number one concern,” said Public Transportation Director, Tom Wilson. “While some major roads are navigable, the neighborhoods are where we are having the most difficulty getting around.”

AnchorRIDES will operate for essential service only.  If you are scheduled for an AnchorRIDES trip and would like to check on the status of your trip, call the scheduling office at 562-8444.
