Police and Fire Retiree Medical Funding Program Volunteer Internship

Description of Major Duties

The Municipality of Anchorage is looking for a high school junior or senior to work in the Police and Fire Retiree Medical Funding Program.  This is a volunteer internship where the student will assist in the upkeep and organization of the retiree medical records, and financial recordkeeping of premium/reimbusements for police and fire retirees.

Selection Criteria

1. Ability to communicate on a professional level each day.
2. High school junior or senior.
3. Have the desire to train in the field of Business Administration.
4. Punctuality and reliability when work schedule contract is signed.
5. Ability to adhere to confidentiality agreement.

Eligibility

Applicants must have at least a 2.0 GPA and currently enrolled as a high school junior or senior.
