The seven member Heritage Land Bank Advisory Commission (HLBAC) oversees the operation of the Heritage Land Bank and its fund. The Commission provides public notices and holds a public hearing prior to making advisory recommendations on proposed Heritage Land Bank actions to the Mayor and Assembly of the Municipality of Anchorage. Advisory Commission members are appointed by the Mayor and confirmed by Anchorage Assembly. The Commission must include at least one member each from the communities of Girdwood and Eagle River-Chugiak. Members may serve a maximum of two consecutive three year terms. Committee meetings are held on a monthly basis to consider proposed actions.
Section 4.60.200 of the Anchorage Municipal Code establishes the HLBAC to perform functions assigned by AMC Section 25.40.

- Meeting Dates and Agendas -
The commission's regular meeting dates are the second Thursday of the month at 11:30 a.m., and are usually held in the Mayor's Conference Room of City Hall (#830).
However, location and dates are subject to change based upon the ability
to attain a quorum, so please call 343-4332 to hear a recording of the current agenda's action items, or....
