Alaska Family Child Care Association:  AFCCA promotes and develops quality professional home based child care.

Anchorage Public Library (or 907-343-2975): the Library has thousands of children’s books available to check out as well as story time kits. You can also attend free events for kids and families, such as story times for infants and toddlers, preschoolers, and families.

Anchorage School District (or 907-742-3886) ASD offers an Early Childhood Special Education program that provides services for children age 3 to 5 who experience developmental delays or other disabilities.

Best Beginnings (or 907-297-3306): a public-private collaborative effort providing leadership for Alaska's investment in its youngest citizens, ensuring a best beginning for children and a vital future for Alaska.

Child Care Connection (or 907-563-1966): CCC supports families and caregivers through parenting support classes, helping families connect with community resources, child care provider classes, and referring parents to child care programs.

Municipality of Anchorage (or 907-343-4758): you can find out information and histories of approved child care homes and licensed centers.
