Credit Card Payments

We are pleased to offer electronic payment by credit card through Official Payments Corporation, a nationally recognized company servicing state and local governments who offer credit cards as a payment option for state and local taxes, fines and fees. Official Payments Corporation charges convenience fee of approximately 3% for this service.

For example:

$18 for a $500 payment

$30 for a $1,000 payment

$60 for a $2,000 payment.

The Municipality of Anchorage does not receive any portion of this fee. In making a payment via the Internet or by phone, you will need to have your case number readily available. Do not include spaces or dashes when entering the case number.

Please note: Paying via the Internet will take less time and will produce a printable receipt of the transaction. If you wish to pay by phone you will need to call 1-800-2pay-tax (1-800-272-9829) and enter JURISDICTION CODE 1201 when prompted.
