Engineering and Design Division
The Engineering and Design Division provides engineering and design services for road, safety, drainage, parks, and trails projects. The Division is also responsible for:
- updating the design criteria for municipal roads and drainage and publication of the Design Criteria Manual (DCM).
- updating and publication of the Municipality of Anchorage Standard Specifications (M.A.S.S.).
- preparation of design and construction documents for roads, drainage, and recreational infrastructure projects.
- providing internal support and review for variances for proposed designs, oversight review of road and drainage projects in the Municipality, and other miscellaneous engineering support functions.
