Eagle Scout Projects

We at Anchorage Parks and Recreation are thrilled to lend our support to Eagle Scout candidates as they embark on park and open space projects. Scouts are encouraged to share their project ideas with us, drawing from their firsthand observations. From park maintenance to community-centered initiatives, all ideas are welcome. Scouts, along with their parents/guardians and scouting mentors, are invited to collaborate with us in developing proposals as a crucial part of the public process.

Additionally, the Anchorage Park Foundation offers a challenge grant program for applicable projects. Scouts can contact them at info@anchorageparksfoundation.org or 907-274-1003 to see if funding is available.
