2008-2012 Draft Consolidated Plan
The Municipality of Anchorage is currently requesting public comment on the 2008-2012 Consolidated Plan for thirty days beginning August 23, 2007. The public hearing for the Plan will take place on September 12th at 4:00 p.m. at City Hall in Room 810. If you need reasonable accomadation because of a diability in order to come to the hearing or comment on the Plan please contact Corrine O'Neill at 343-4182.
The plan identifies the Municipality's affordable housing, homeless, community development, and economic development needs; it also presents the Municipality's strategies to address those needs.

Citizen Participation Plan
This portion of the consolidated plan describes the framework and process to be used to develop and implement the Municipality’s housing and community development programs as required by HUD; this plan details the Municipality's policies and procedures for public involvement in the Housing and Community Development Consolidated Plan development and implementation process.

Action Plans
A required annual update of the consolidated plan, our action plans identify the specific use of grant funds for projects and activities during the applicable program year.

Consolidated Annual Performance and Evaluation Reports (CAPERs)
The annual document reports on the progress made in implementing Anchorage's consolidated plan, through the proposed measures in the one year Action Plan.

Mountain View Neighborhood Revitalization Strategy
The strategy, aimed at one of Anchorage's lowest income neighborhoods, works towards economic and community development through a number of programs including completing a historic survey to expedite redevelopment, developing a neighborhood arts center, and much more.

Section 108 Application
Section 108 provides communities with a source of financing for economic development, housing rehabilitation, public facilities, and large-scale physical development projects.

Mayor's Homelessness Taskforce
In ten years, the homeless of Anchorage will be connected with a way to secure safe and affordable housing within three months of being identified by any provider of homeless services.

Continuum of Care
The Continuum of Care is a community plan to organize and deliver housing and services to meet the specific needs of people who are homeless as they move to stable housing and maximum self-sufficiency. It includes action steps to end homelessness and prevent a return to homelessness.
