Bike To Work Day 2008  Biggest Yet!   Thanks for making it a success!     This is the official site for the Municipality of Anchorage “Bike to Work Day” event.  This year's ride was our biggest one yet, with 112 business teams registering 918 riders.  Wow!  Thanks and more thanks to everyone who made this the best Bike to Work Day yet!  From teams of 1 (Team "Tom Martin") to 102 (ANTHC), commuting to work and to school (Rogers Park Elementary counters found 60 bikes in their racks!), Anchorage bikers came out in full force.  Special thanks to our local business sponsors, agency partners, and volunteers - we couldn't have done it without you.  This has truly become a Community Event, and we appreciate your participation and support. The 2008 Rider Survey is Closed. Thanks to everyone who took the survey - your answers will help us learn what is working and what we need to improve for next year's event, and bike commuting in general.  Prize winners will be chosen randomly from survey responders.
