According to the American Psychological Association, when people are trying to cope with an irrational situation such as a terrorist attack, the process can set off a chain of events leading to feelings of fear, helplessness, vulnerability and grief. Following is a list of some of the counseling resources available in the Anchorage area, nationally and on the Web:
