Elvi Gray-Jackson began her public service career with the Municipality at the Public Transit Department 25 years ago.   In 1998, she started working for the Anchorage Assembly; first as an Administrative Assistant then as Senior Budget Analyst and, finally, as the Director of its Budget and Legislative Services Office. Since 2006, Elvi has served as Vice-Chair and Chair of the Municipality’s Cooperative Services Authority.

She is a member of the Boys and Girls Club Board of Directors; the Woodside East Homeowner’s Association and the National League of Cities Leadership Training Program. A few of the non-profit organizations she volunteers for include STAR, AWAIC, 4A’s, Safe Harbor Inn and the ARC of Anchorage.

Elvi is a graduate of the University of Alaska-Anchorage and has one son, Ramon.
