Patrick Flynn, a lifelong Alaskan, grew up in the district he represents and resides there with his wife, Tina, and their son Kian. A graduate of West Anchorage High School, he also achieved a Masters of Business Administration from Alaska Pacific University. Patrick’s professional life has afforded him the opportunity to work in many different parts of the state and he is currently employed at the Alaska Railroad Corporation, specializing in marketing and logistics. Patrick is a former president of the South Addition community council, a member of the United Way of Anchorage’s campaign committee and has co-chaired the agency subcommittee of the United Way’s Day of Caring steering committee.
As a member of the Anchorage Assembly Patrick is keenly interested in applying long-term planning to the decision-making process. He was elected in 2008 and represents the neighborhoods of Downtown, Fairview, Government Hill, Mountain View and South Addition.
