Ride-Along Interested in becoming a police officer or learning more about how a police officer spends his/her day?  Complete the ride-along request form.  This pdf is located under Related Links to the right, you will need free Adobe Reader to view this form. Basic requirements are: Applicants must be 20 years of age (no exceptions) Must have a clean criminal/driving history Must complete and turn in form at least three days prior to requested ride Applicants can either fax a completed form to APD Public Affairs, 786-8538.  Or turn the completed form into the front counter of the APD.  Applicants are only authorized a one-time ride-along.  Those applicants that are in the hiring process will be allowed to ride a total of three times.  Any other questions, call 786-8699.
