NOTICE OF MUNICIPAL ASSEMBLY PUBLIC HEARINGS: 

The Assembly of the Municipality of Anchorage will hold a public hearing on the following ordinances, resolutions and memorandum at its regular meeting of October 8, 2013.  The public hearing portion of the meeting begins at 6:00 p.m. and is held in the Assembly Chambers, Z.J. Loussac Library, 3600 Denali: 

Ordinance No. AO 2013-107, an ordinance of the Municipality of Anchorage, Alaska, authorizing and providing for the issuance of Not To Exceed $43,000,000 in aggregate principal amount of General Obligation Schools Bonds of the Municipality for the purpose of financing the costs of renewing and replacing Clark Middle School, Addition and Renewal of Chester Valley and Sand Lake Elementary Schools, Design Plans for Girdwood K-8 School, Educational Capital Improvements for Districtwide Major Buildings Systems Renewal in the Municipality, and Educational Capital Improvements for Career, Technical and Vocational Facility Education Upgrades; delegating certain matters to the Chief Fiscal Officer in connection with the sale of the bonds; authorizing the Chief Fiscal Officer to confirm the manner of sale of the bonds; pledging the full faith and credit of the Municipality to the payment thereof; and authorizing an amendment to Ordinance No. AO 2012-57, Finance Department/Public Finance and Investments Division.
