Important W2 Information

Due to the sensitive nature of W-2 information and the need to maintain confidentiality with personal information such as Social Security numbers, the Municipality will mail all 2014 W-2s to your mailing address on file with the Employee Relations Records Section.  The W-2s will be mailed no later than January 31, 2015.  If your address needs to be updated, please send a signed letter with your name, Social Security Number and new address to the Municipality of Anchorage, Attention: Records Section, P.O. Box 196650, Anchorage, AK  99519-6650 no later than December 31, 2014.  If you have any questions, please contact the Records Section at 907.343.4447.

Social Security - Did You Know?

Social Security earnings and credits are posted according to the name on file with Social Security. If the name on your Social Security card does not match the name on your Payroll record, your earnings and credits may be in a suspense file at Social Security. It pays to check your records with Social Security Administration.  Please contact the Central Payroll Office at 907.343.6805 if you have any questions regarding this issue.
