May be loaded with period passes or individual rides, but not both. Smart Cards are available from Customer Service. Adult Fare smartcards may also be purchased and recharged at the Ticket Vending Machine, both located in the Downtown Transit Center.

Ticket Vending Machine (TVM)
Located in the Downtown Transit Center only, the Ticket Vending Machine sells passes, tickets and Adult Fare Smart Cards. At this time, the TVM will be cash only.
Tokens
Effective with the new farboxes, tokens will no longer be accepted but may be exchanged for Ride Tickets at the Downtown Transit Center through December 15, 2012.
Adult
Riders age 19-59
Youth
Riders age 5-18. Youths age 12 and older may be asked to show school ID to receive youth fares. Children 4 and under must be accompanied by an adult. Planning on riding with a young one? Check out our brochure on Traveling with Children.

Reduced
Seniors age 60 and older, individuals with qualifying disabilities and Medicare Card holders are eligible for the reduced fare. Seniors must show government issued ID with photo and date of birth or obtain a Reduced Fare ID. Individuals with qualifying disabilities need to complete a Reduced Fare Application, available on-line or from the Downtown Center Customer Service Office. Individuals with Medicare Cards may simply show their current card to the bus operator or obtain a People Mover Reduced Fare ID Card.
Reduced Fare ID Cards are $3.75 and only available from Customer Service at the Downtown Transit Center, 700 W. 6th Avenue, Suite 109 in Anchorage.
U-Pass
As of July 1, 2012, University of Alaska Anchorage students must be enrolled in the current semester, use their new (green) WolfCards and swipe the card in the farebox card reader to ride for free.
Additionally, Alaska Pacific University and Anchorage Charter College students, staff and faculty may show their current semester school ID and ride for free.
