People Mover Service Change

The Municipality of Anchorage Public Transportation Department has a service change scheduled for Monday, July 2, 2018.

People Mover annually implements a service change to address changes in travel patterns, improve on-time performance, and overall maximize efficiency of resources to better serve the community.

Route Alignments and Schedules

With the support of the Public Transit Advisory Board, service changes to the neighborhood routes will take effect July 2, 2018. Changes will improve on-time performance and provide more transfer opportunities to frequent routes. We appreciate your feedback and participation in the public comment process.

Transfers

To improve on-time performance, after July 2, 2018, Routes 21 and 31 will no longer travel through downtown. Click on the maps below to help plan your trip from the Route 21 or 31 to several frequent bus routes headed downtown.
