Installing Speed Humps In Your Neighborhood

The Municipality of Anchorage (MOA) is working with your Assembly, Community Councils, and local legislators to oversee the Municipal Speed Humps Program.

Speed Hump Location Guidelines:

Speed humps may be placed only on roadways paved with asphalt paving. Speed humps will not be installed on:

• cul-de-sacs
• short, dead-end streets
• curves
• steep grades
• middles of driveways
• within 50' of intersections
