Anchorage police have identified the homicide victim in yesterday's incident as 31-year-old Aylett Hanson of Anchorage. His next of kin have been notified. The investigation surrounding his death continues.

Anchorage police continue to investigate the death of a male found inside of a vehicle in a business parking lot on the 2600 block of Spenard. An autopsy is being conducted today. Police are in the process of positively identifying the male victim and will then notify next-of-kin. Additional details will be released as they come available.

Anchorage police are investigating the death of a male found inside a vehicle in a business parking lot in Spenard as a homicide. At 3:24 p.m. APD Dispatch received a report of an unresponsive male inside of a vehicle in a parking lot located on the 2600 block of Spenard. Police and medics responded, and the male victim was declared dead at the scene. Police are currently investigating the death as a homicide. No additional details are available at this time.
