Subject: Arrest made of Suspected Shooter in November Office Lounge Shooting
An Anchorage grand jury indicted 26-year-old Wills Johnbaptiste on charges stemming from a shooting outside of the Office Lounge located at 545 E. Northern Lights Blvd on November 10, 2013. Johnbaptiste was indicted on two counts of assault in the first degree, one count of assault in the second degree and one count of misconduct involving weapons in the second degree.
Johnbaptiste turned himself into authorities yesterday after a warrant was issued for his arrest. A total of three people were injured in the shooting - two victims who suffered bullet wounds and one victim who was grazed by a bullet. All victims are in stable recovery.
The Anchorage Police Department was assisted by the Joint Base Elmendorf Richardson CID Office, and owners and employees of the Office Lounge in their investigation. APD greatly appreciates their assistance in this investigation which has resulted in an arrest.
