On 2-2-10 at 0022 hours, Anchorage Police officers responded to the report of a stabbing victim who was at a local hospital. Upon arrival, they found Christopher Fette, and Nicole Schultz, both of whom reported being stabbed. They told officers that they were in the area of the Alano Club on the 3100 block of Spenard Road when a short heavy set white male adult, wearing a black coat, zipped up to his nose, approached them and asked Fette for money. When Fette said that he had none, the suspect became more demanding and then stabbed him in the abdomen. Fette began fighting with the suspect and was stabbed once more in the upper torso. Schultz then stepped between the two men and she also was stabbed in the torso.
The two stabbing victims then got a ride to the hospital where they were treated for their wounds. Serious as they were, the wounds were not life threatening. Since the couple did not report until they arrived at the hospital, officers were not able to locate a suspect the night that this robbery occurred. Detectives in APD’s Robbery/Assault Unit are asking anyone with information about this vicious robbery to contact APD immediately at 786-8900 or by calling CrimeStoppers at 561-STOP.
CrimeStoppers will pay a cash reward of up to $1,000 for information which results in the arrest of a wanted felon or the solving of a felony crime. Initial reports must be to Crime Stoppers to be eligible for the reward. All calls are confidential.
