Police Department

After an investigation of the alleged scene of the shooting of Jesse Kern, reported on 3-4-10 at 1600 hours, officers of the Anchorage Police Department were not able to locate physical evidence supporting Kern’s account.  Earlier, Kern told police, who had responded to a hospital emergency room, that he had been shot while walking on a bike trail south of East High School on the south side of Northern Lights Boulevard.

Police request that anyone with information about the shooting of Jesse Kern on 3-4-10 call APD immediately at 786-8900.
