Test Schedule 

All Police Officer testing is being temporarily suspended as the May 2009 Anchorage Police Academy has been postponed until further notice. 

Future testing will resume at a later date, so be sure to check the Anchorage Police Department Recruitment Newsletter on the JOINAPD.ORG website for updates.

Timelines

The Anchorage Police Department now conducts written testing on a quarterly basis, with a target completion of all steps in the process of 3-4 months.  Applicants will receive written notification of their status within approximately four weeks of completion of each specific step in the process.
