Weddings/special event functions can be held 7 days a week, Monday through Sunday, 9:00am to 3:00pm (greenhouse closes at 3:00pm).
The greenhouse is not available after 3:00pm.
The Greenhouse is not available in the evenings or on city recognized holidays.

Reservations should be made a minimum of 7 days in advance. Be sure to schedule your rental with the greenhouse first.
To schedule your event on the reservation calendar, visit the greenhouse at Lidia Selkregg Lane or call 343-4717.
Fill out the municipal Letter of Request and fax it to 249-7639. For requests that include alcohol, an Alcohol Waiver must be submitted as well. Once your permit is complete it will be available for pick up at the Northeast Park District Office.
Pay for and pick up the permit at the Northeast District Office located in the Russian Jack Chalet, or call 343-4473 to pay your permit fee over the phone by credit card. The District Office will confirm the event as reserved. You will need to have a copy of your signed permit, cash receipt and approved alcohol waiver (if applicable) on site the day of your event.
Reservations are for a one hour period unless longer periods are requested. Set up and clean up times must be included.

Greenhouse remains open to the public during the wedding/special event function. There is no private area.
Have a copy of your permit with you at the time of the event in case of scheduling questions.
Due to the size of the facility, a maximum of 20-25 participants is recommended. This number includes the bride, groom and pastor.
Solarium may be decorated provided no damage is done to plants, limbs, etc.
Nothing in the greenhouse is to be moved.
Rice, confetti or bird seed is prohibited inside and outside the greenhouse.
Alcoholic beverages are prohibited unless you have an approved municipal alcohol waiver. Alcohol must stay inside building.
It is recommended brides wearing a long gown bring a sheet to stand on as walkways are dusty.
WEDDING PARTY IS RESPONSIBLE FOR CLEAN UP!
