The Parks and Recreation Department allocates and reserves municipal outdoor athletic facilities for public use.  Typically, use permits are issued annually and include written terms and conditions to ensure protection of the resource, as well as efficient and compatible use of these public resources. 

Applications are available which must be submitted by the respective deadlines and completed to including number and length of games and practices per week, comments regarding past contributions for facilities’ maintenance and upgrades, and requested attachments.

Priority use for ice time is given to hockey teams  that are partners or who have adopted the rink for the season. Permits are given to other groups for time based on their needs and the availabity of the rinks. Individual teams may apply for ice time.
