Pesticide Control

The Food Safety & Sanitation (FSS) program issues permits for and regulates pest control agencies operating within the Municipality of Anchorage. FSS also investigates pesticide application complaints.

The State of Alaska Pesticide Control Program certifies individuals to operate as pest control operators in Alaska. More information on becoming a certified pest control operator are available at the State of Alaska Pesticide Control program web page.
