Air Quality Planning

Program staff develop air quality control plans for Anchorage. These plans must be submitted to the federal Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) for approval as part of the overall Alaska State Implementation Plan (SIP) for air quality. Staff recently completed an Anchorage CO Maintenance Plan (3.8 MB pdf) that outlines the strategy for long term compliance with the federal standard. Call 343-4200 for more information.
