Effective Animal Advocacy Workshop

You are invited to an animal advocacy seminar January 6, 2013 organized and hosted by the Anchorage Animal Control Advisory Board.

Over the years, numerous companion animal matters have come before both the legislature and municipality. Some of these topics have dealt with animal cruelty, limitations on the numbers or types of companion animals acceptable outdoors, as well as funding for capital projects such as spay/neuter clinics. A healthy number of advocates providing input at the state and local level contributes to the success and speed of legislative changes.

This seminar will include Municipal Assembly Members and State Legislators each with a history of companion animal advocacy. The seminar is an excellent opportunity to strengthen our collective voice and learn what you or your organization can do to have impact on state and local decisions affecting Alaska's companion animals.

If you are interested in making a difference for animals in 2013, you should attend this informative and motivational workshop. Please spread the word to other animal groups, advocates and pet lovers about the seminar.
