Anchorage Local Emergency Planning Committee (LEPC)
Next Meeting of the Anchorage Local Emergency Planning Committee (LEPC) will be October 18th, 2017 from 9:00am - 11:00am. The meeting will be held at the Office of Emergency Management located at 1305 E street in Anchorage, AK 99501.
The Anchorage LEPC seeks to uphold federal, state, and local laws pertaining to emergency/disaster planning and Community Right-to-Know reporting. The Anchorage LEPC is designated as an All-Hazards LEPC and is partially funded by a state grant that is administered by the Municipality of Anchorage Office of Emergency Management.
In accordance with 42 U.S.C.S. 11044, Community Right-to-Know hazardous materials information on Anchorage facilities is available for public review: Emergency Response Plan, Material Safety Data Sheets, Hazardous Materials Inventory Form. The Anchorage LEPC is currently seeking members to fulfill the following positions:
Facility Owners / Operators (required to report under SARA Title III)
