Anchorage Local Emergency Planning Committee (LEPC)
The Anchorage LEPC seeks to uphold federal, state, and local laws pertaining to emergency/disaster planning and Community Right-to-Know reporting. The Anchorage LEPC is designated as an All-Hazards LEPC and is partially funded by a state grant that is administered by the Municipality of Anchorage Office of Emergency Management.
In accordance with 42 U.S.C.S. 11044, Community Right-to-Know hazardous materials information on Anchorage facilities is available for public review: Emergency Response Plan, Material Safety Data Sheets, Hazardous Materials Inventory Form. The Anchorage LEPC holds 3 meetings per year, January, May and September. NOTE: The next meeting was scheduled for January 11th, but has been postponed to Wednesday, January 25, 2011 at 10:00AM. All meetings are held at the Office of Emergency Management, 1305 E Street.
