Wild Salmon on Parade ™

Wild Salmon on Parade Logo

Wild Salmon on Parade is inspired by the example and spirit of Soul Salmon (Olympia, WA 2001) and Cows on Parade (Chicago, IL 1999). Each year Wild Salmon on Parade teams up with organizations and artists to place large, wildly decorated fiberglass fish sculptures around Anchorage. The program nourishes local artists and celebrates salmon. Sculptures are sold at auction and the proceeds go to local charities. Wild Salmon on Parade returns each summer with a new incarnation, much like wild salmon returning to our creeks each summer. For more information go to:
