Licensed Contractor -

A Construction business that is licensed, bonded, and insured sets itself apart from other companies as professional and trustworthy. They have verification from the State of Alaska and the Municipality of Anchorage that they will comply with government construction standards. Before starting construction check below to see if your contractor is licensed with the State of Alaska and the Municipality of Anchorage.

Selecting a licensed contractor is vital for assuring that work you have done:

  1. Is safe,
  2. Is designed and built to meet applicable code requirements,
  3. Uses material of the appropriate quality; and,
  4. Is done with good workmanship.
You should only hire a contractor who is licensed by the Municipality of Anchorage for work done in the Municipality because:
  1. It is the law,
  2. A Municipality of Anchorage License is only given after state license, insurance and necessary specialty licenses are confirmed.
