PC -- Planned Community District
The planned community district is intended to regulate large tracts of land which are under unified ownership or development control. The purpose of this district is to allow flexibility in the selection of land use controls for the specific site. Each PC district is governed by the ordinance creating it. There may be residential or industrial Planned Communities. Examples of residential PC districts are Southport and Powder Ridge. Examples of industrial PC districts are the Ship Creek area and Chugiak Industrial Park.
