​The Municipality of Anchorage was awarded a Smart Growth assistance project to facilitate a community discussion on “Planning for Economic & Fiscal Health in 2016.” This award resulted in two Smart Growth America (SGA) experts visiting Anchorage for 3 days (May 8-10, 2016) to hold a targeted workshop on May 10, 2016, with the Anchorage community.
