Kings Landing Project at Ship Creek Hosts Public Open House This Wednesday
The Municipality of Anchorage is working with partners to improve safety, access, and enjoyment of the lower Ship Creek area for anglers and visitors, while minimizing human impacts to the creek-side environment.
The public is invited to an Open House event to view and comment on 65% design plans for Phase II of the Kings Landing project. The construction of a public plaza, a seasonal restroom, a kids’ fishing area, an ADA accessible fishing area, a fish cleaning station and a rain garden to treat surface runoff are among the improvements planned for Phase II of the project.
