Westchester Lagoon Family Skate

Since 1996, Anchorage Parks and Recreation Department has partnered with ConocoPhillips to sponsor the Saturday Family Skate at Westchester Lagoon.  This Anchorage tradition has attracted hundreds of people to the groomed ice and ice trails of the lagoon for a fun-filled family atmosphere. Parks and Recreation provides burn barrels to warm those little hands and feet of our young skaters as well as providing free delicious hot chocolate.  Each Saturday has a theme, such as Mascot Day, Dr. Seuss Skate, and Winter Fiesta.  Families can participate in fun games, and win some great prizes.

Saturday Family Skate is free to the public and runs from January 7th to March 10^th from 1-3pm.  Come celebrate winter with us at Westchester Lagoon!!!!
