Anchorage Community Assessment

The Anchorage Community Assessment Project Comprehensive Report is co-chaired by United Way of Anchorage and the Municipality of Anchorage.  The Anchorage Economic Development Corporation, University of Alaska Anchorage, Providence Health System in Alaska, the Rasmuson Foundation and BP provided financial an leadership support.

The CAP is an invaluable resource, representing an unprecedented gathering of quality-of-life information in 6 key areas:

• education
• public safety
• health
• social environment
• economy
• natural environment

With this information, the critical dialogue of where we want to go as a community can begin.  We will need the entire community at the table: Business. Government. Nonprofits. Faith-based organizations. Individuals. Leaders like you.

Working together, we can build a shared vision for change and promote broader, more in-depth partnerships to work toward that change.
