On Wednesday Morning, October 23rd, 2013 at approximately 01:11am the Anchorage Fire Department Dispatch received a 9-1-1 call reporting a structure fire on a roof at a mall located at 131 Bragaw St.  The AFD dispatched 12 units to the reported fire.  Upon arrival crews reported smoke and fire originating from the roof at 3920 Mountain View Dr, Cash Alaska.

Damage to the roof was reported as minor.  During the investigation the cause of the fire was determined to be arson.  Attached to the press release are two pictures.  One (labeled arson suspect) is of a male subject who the Investigator is classifying as the suspect in the fire.  The second picture (labeled witness) of the female who is believed to be a witness and the Investigator would like to talk with her about the events she may have witnessed on the morning of the fire.

No further information on the fire will be released at this time.
