 Suspicious Vehicle Fire

On 09/25/12 at about 23:22 hrs the Anchorage Fire Department responded to a report of a vehicle fire at 4210 Hampton Drive. Upon arrival crews found a car fire in front of 6615 Lunar Drive. The vehicle was a 2012 Lexus RX350 SUV which sustained interior fire and smoke damage. There were no injuries as a result of the fire.

Quick action by witness and fire personnel kept the vehicle from growing out of control. After the fire was brought under control an investigation was conducted which determined the fire was intentionally set. A witness described seeing a red sedan leaving the area. The fire investigator is seeking the publics help in identifying those responsible.
