Resolution No. AR 2009-31 a resolution of the Anchorage Municipal Assembly approving an alcoholic beverages conditional use in the I-1 (Light Industrial District) for a brewery use and License Number 4866 per AMC 21.40.200 B.1. (k) and AMC 21.50.160 A for Midnight Sun Brewing, LLC, located at 8111 Dimond Hook Drive, Lot 3, Block 1, Petersburg Business Center Subdivision, generally located east of Petersburg Street and north of East Dimond Boulevard and Dimond Hook Drive (Abbott Loop Community Council) (Case 2009-027). Resolution No. AR 2009-32 a resolution of the Municipality of Anchorage, Alaska, accepting six State of Alaska Drinking Water Fund loan agreements in the aggregate amount of $8,100,000 for financing a portion of the costs of the Anchorage Loop Water Transmission Main Phase IV, South Anchorage Water Extension, Hiland Road Water Intertie, DeBarr-Klevin-Hoyt Water Upgrade, Christensen Drive Water Upgrade, and Well 7 and Well 12 Upgrade Projects.
Resolution No. AR 2009-33 a resolution of the Municipality of Anchorage appropriating $4,966,435 from the Equipment Maintenance Internal Service Operating Fund (Fund 601), Unrestricted Net Assets Account, to the Equipment Maintenance Internal Service Capital Fund (Fund 606) to purchase replacement vehicles and equipment. Resolution No. AR 2009-34 a resolution of the Municipality of Anchorage appropriating a U.S. Department of Transportation, Federal Transit Administration (FTA) Section 5311 grant of $114,000 awarded to the Matanuska Susitna (Mat-Su) Borough and passed through to the Municipality of Anchorage for the purchase of four vanpool vehicles and appropriating $44,466 to be provided by Mat-Su as matching funds to the Public Transportation Capital Improvement Fund (485), Public Transportation Department, and $15,000 for the maintenance of the vans to the Miscellaneous Operational Grants Fund (261).
Resolution No. AR 2009-35 a resolution of the Anchorage Municipal Assembly recognizing and celebrating February 2009 as Black History Month. Resolution No. AR 2009-36 a resolution of the Anchorage Municipal Assembly to achieve cost savings to municipal taxpayers for Assembly Member meals.
Resolution No. AR 2009-37 a resolution of the Municipality of Anchorage, Alaska, accepting three (3) State of Alaska Clean Water Fund loan agreements in the aggregate amount of $3,225,000 for financing a portion of the costs of the SCADA Sewer, Operations Facility Phase III, and Minnesota-Benson Sewer Upgrade Projects. Resolution No. AR 2009-38 a resolution of the Municipality of Anchorage, Alaska, confirming and levying assessments for the sewer special improvements within Levy-Upon-Connection (LUC) Roll 08-S-3, setting date of payment and providing for penalties and interest in the event of delinquency.
Resolution No. AR 2009-39 a resolution of the Municipality of Anchorage, Alaska, confirming and levying assessments for the water special improvements within MacLaren Water Improvement District WID 2076, setting date of payment and providing for penalties and interest in the event of delinquency. Resolution No. AR 2009-40 a resolution of the Municipality of Anchorage appropriating a $3,037,350 contribution of BP2009 Tax Revenues approved in the BP2009 General Government Operating Budget from the Chugiak, Birchwood, Eagle River Rural Road Service Area (CBERRRSA) Fund 119 to the CBERRRSA Capital Improvement Program Fund 419 for road and drainage capital improvement projects within the CBERRRSA.
Resolution No. AR 2009-41 a resolution of the Municipality of Anchorage providing for the appropriation of a donation of $11,000, $6,000 from the Friends of the Library and $5,000 from the Alaska Community Foundation, to the Office of Economic and Community Development, Miscellaneous Operational Grants Fund (261) in support of the Community Read Program. Resolution No. AR 2009-42 a resolution of the Municipality of Anchorage providing for the appropriation of donations of $8,303, from Public Donations, to the Office of Economic and Community Development, Miscellaneous Operational Grants Fund (261) for the purchase of library materials.
Resolution No. AR 2009-43 a resolution of the Anchorage Municipal Assembly establishing April 20-26, 2009 as Anchorage Turnoff the Screen Week. Resolution No. AR 2009-44 a resolution of the Anchorage Municipal Assembly relating to potential revenue sharing by the State of Alaska in 2009.
Resolution No. AR 2009-45 a resolution of the Municipality of Anchorage providing for the appropriation of a grant of $1,000 from the Alaska State Library, Library Services and Technology Acts Funds, to the Office of Economic and Community Development, Special Revenue Fund (231) for continuing education tuition. Resolution No. AR 2009-46 a resolution of the Anchorage Municipal Assembly approving the modification of the site plan for the Sixth Avenue Reconstruction Project from Patterson Street to Muldoon Road, generally located in the Right-Of-Way of Sixth Avenue between Patterson Street and Muldoon Road and on Oklahoma Street between Sixth Avenue and Fourth Avenue in Northeast Anchorage, Project Management & Engineering Department.
Resolution No. AR 2009-47 a resolution of the Anchorage Assembly approving the Updated Records Retention Schedules for the Finance, Property Appraisal Division; Maintenance & Operations Department, and the new records retention schedule for Risk Management in accordance with Municipal Policy and Procedure 52-2. Resolution No. AR 2009-48 a resolution of the Municipality of Anchorage appropriating $31,163 as a grant from the State of Alaska, Department of Military and Veterans Affairs, Division of Homeland Security and Emergency Management and appropriating $1,209 as a contribution from the 2009 Anchorage Police Operating Budget, Anchorage Metropolitan Police Service Area Fund (151) to the State Categorical Grants Fund (231), Anchorage Police Department, for the purchase of terrorism response and prevention equipment.
Resolution No. AR 2009-49 a resolution of the Municipality of Anchorage appropriating $55,428 from the State of Alaska, Department of Transportation & Public Facilities; and appropriating $2,155 as a contribution from the 2009 Anchorage Police Operating Budget, Anchorage Metropolitan Police Service Area Fund (151) to the State Categorical Grants Fund (231) Anchorage Police Department, for Seat Belt Enforcement. Resolution No. AR 2009-50 a resolution of the Municipality of Anchorage appropriating $270,000 from the Federal Seized and Forfeited Monies Police Investigation Fund (257) Other Fines and Forfeitures to the Police Investigation Fund (257) for use by the Anchorage Police Department.
Resolution No. AR 2009-51 a resolution of the Municipality of Anchorage appropriating $139,464 from the State of Alaska, Department of Transportation & Public Facilities; and appropriating $5,426 as a contribution from the 2009 Anchorage Police Operating Budget, Anchorage Metropolitan Police Service Area Fund (151) to the State Categorical Grants Fund (231) Anchorage Police Department, for Impaired Driving Enforcement. Resolution No. AR 2009-52 a resolution appropriating a $1,100,000 contribution from the Maintenance and Operations Department Areawide Service Area Fund (Fund 101) approved in the BP2009 General Government Operating Budget to the Areawide Service Area Capital Improvement Fund (Fund 401) for major municipal facility upgrades and repairs.
Resolution No. AR 2009-53 a resolution appropriating $200,000 from Amendment Number One to a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the State of Alaska Department of Transportation and Public Facilities (ADOT&PF) and the Municipality of Anchorage (MOA) to the State Categorical Grants Fund (231) under the Municipal Traffic Department for the development of the Highway to Highway Connection (H2H Project). Resolution No. AR 2009-54 a resolution of the Anchorage Municipal Assembly honoring and recognizing Team Network, Inc. and Alaska InvestNet for the Alaska Business Plan Competition, fostering innovation and entrepreneurship in Alaska, and acknowledging the program supporters in the academic and business community.
Resolution No. AR 2009-55 a resolution of the Anchorage Municipal Assembly in opposition to instituting the death penalty in Alaska. Resolution No. AR 2009-56 a resolution of the Anchorage Municipal Assembly to ensure that public transportation continues at no less than the service levels available as of January 1, 2009.
Resolution No. AR 2009-57 a resolution appropriating $20,000 from the United States Department of the Interior, National Park Service and appropriating $22,057 as a contribution from the Office of Economic and Community Development, Historic Preservation Fund (740), to the Office of Economic and Community Development, Federal Categorical Grants Fund (241) to produce a Downtown Anchorage Historic Walking Tour and Education Project. Resolution No. AR 2009-58 a resolution of the Municipality of Anchorage appropriating $60,411 from the Anchorage Park Foundation to the Anchorage Bowl Parks and Recreation Service Area Capital Improvement Fund (461) for capital improvement of the Delaney Park tennis courts.
Resolution No. AR 2009-59 a resolution of the Anchorage Municipal Assembly requesting inclusion of updated cost estimates in the Municipality of Anchorage 2009 Alaska Legislative Program capital request for flooding in Eagle River. Resolution No. AR 2009-60 a resolution appropriating $87,420 from the State of Alaska Department of Transportation and Public Facilities (ADOT&PF) to the State Categorical Grants Fund (231) under the Traffic Department for the Anchorage Metropolitan Area Transportation Solutions (AMATS) Municipality of Anchorage (MOA) Traffic Counts 09-11 Program.
